I started weightlifting back in middle school. I was a heavy 7th grader who wanted to make the football team. So I would hop on a friend's bus after school each day that dropped me off near the local YMCA. The gym helped me lose weight, gain muscle, improve strength, and get faster. I was hooked. I continued to use the gym as a tool to get better. That helped me throughout high school where I was the captain of Football, Track, and Lacrosse my Senior year. Throughout college, I continued training as I moved toward recreational sports with Rugby and Ultimate Frisbee. To this day, I play any pickup sport I can get involved with. The gym is still my favorite tool that keeps me ready for these pickup games!

Getting people better is why I am in this field. I love helping people identify areas of growth and establishing a strategy to get them where they want to be. No matter if this person is new to training or a professional athlete; together we can work to get them where they want to be while having fun along the way!
